Ibiza – The biggest and best clubs in the world – Part 2

Let’s Continue our journey to discover the most famous nightclubs.

Another historic club in Ibiza, in the San Rafael area is the Privilege, unanimously considered as one of the biggest clubs in the world because it can hold some 10,000 people. Undoubtedly old, this place was born in the 70s when it was still called KU and (housed) in its outdoor rooms a mixture of different cultures. It has three outdoor rooms, two Vip rooms, several terraces and a beautiful swimming pool.

The Privilege is very famous for the incredible parties that are organized there, among which are the Supermatxe and The Face of Ibiza. The first is an explosion of lights, lasers, wild dancers’ performances, with (in the background), the best electronic and house music of the moment. The party takes place every Friday evening from June 17, the date of the opening of the Party Supermatxe, until September 30th, the date of the Closing Party.

Amnesia and has been present in the Spanish resort since 1976, also is a historic club on the island, it was formerly a farm in the Balearic initially used as an outdoor venue. In the 70s it was the meeting place of the hippies of the place, and later became the first afterhours club in the world (open until 5 am). The establishment boasts two huge empty rooms where young deejays sing and entertain. It can hold up to  5,000 people.

Opened in 2011, Ushuaia is the most innovative nightclub in Ibiza with its 4500 people present it is also the most famous Dj disco frequented by the likes of Armin Van Buren and David Guetta. It is a winning marketing operation that perfectly combines a place that is a disco, an aqua park and a hotel.

After 27 year, in 2016, the club Space was bought by the owners of Ushuaia and became the Hi Ibiza. The new owners claim that: Hi Ibiza aims to combine the highest standards of music and entertainment, bringing musical experiences worldwide, to a club designed exclusively for nightlife lovers. That was once an art club, will now showcase the most exciting names in electronic music throughout the summer, from the biggest stars of the underground scene to the players, thus continuing the heritage of the island as a world capital of entertainment.

Before going to the disco, the fun begins at the beach club, premises located directly on the beach: the most famous is undoubtedly the Bora Bora, located in Playa d’en Bossa and suitable for those who want to start dancing as soon as they set foot on the golden sand island, without having to wait for nightfall.
