Surrounded by pine forest hills, the small, protected sandy cove of Cala Salada is a favourite for residents and private boat owners as no tourist ferries ever get here. The water is beautifully clear, shallow and perfect for swimming, and the sea bed mostly soft sand. This small beach gets very busy on summer weekends, with people often spread across the rocks (perfect for jumping from) which separate Cala Salada and neighbouring Cala Saladita. This beach lies in the shelter of steep cliffs that hide the sun earlier than in a other beaches and it is exposed to strong east winds. Shares with es Cavallet the preference as nudist beach; however, it is very familiar and popular. Talamanca, the most famous beach and popular of the city of Ibiza, just 15 minutes walk from the center, it is long and wide, with fine white sand of natural origin. Quiet and with crystal clear water, with sand bottom and underwater vegetation. The length of the Talamanca beach is nearly 1 km and width of 25-30 meters.
