A very famous Balearic island, Ibiza is undoubtedly the undisputed queen of nightlife and the home of discos. The island became famous during the 60s as a hippie hangout. The increasing flow of visitors has given the impetus for the opening of numerous nightclubs, and bars, which have begun to attract more and more people from all over the world. The first clubs to open as early as the ’70s were Amnesia, Pacha and Ku Club (the current Privilege), which, with the increase of their fame, began to become high-end fashion clubs arriving , from the 80s, to host the most famous international DJs. Today, Ibiza’s clubs, some large enough to host more than 3,000 people, host the best DJ’s in the world and boast an organization of the highest standard to offer the public one of the best clubbing experiences in the world. The nightlife of the island is concentrated mainly in the towns of Eivissa and Sat Antoni: in Eivissa head in the marina area, full of bars and nightclubs, while in San Antonio they are located in the center and in the west. The discobus, a 30-minute bus service connecting the various areas of Ibiza’s nightlife, is open to tour the main discos of the island. In this way young people do not need to use the car to go to the disco. But Ibiza is not just bars and music. You can continue the evening walking through the alleys full of people from the upper town of Eivissa (Dalt Vila), a real fortress that is the setting for the great social and cultural events organized in the town. The walls that enclose the Dalt Vila consist of seven bastions: that of Sant Pere (Es Portal Nou) coincides with one of the entrances near the Reina Sofía park and is the setting for outdoor concerts.

Jockey Club (Playa Salinas, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza)
Open from the end of March to the end of October. Located in Playa Salinas, Jockey Club is a beach bar, ideal for a drink or sunbathing. The dj plays house and chill out music.
Malibù Club (Playa Salinas, Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Ibiza)
Located at one end of the white sandy beach of Salinas, the Malibù beach club offers a nice atmosphere with an outdoor terrace where you can enjoy an enchanting view of the sea. On the super-crowded beach you can find many places to sunbathe.
Pacha (Avenida 8 de Agosto, Ibiza)
Open for 40 years and located near the port of the city of Eivissa, Pacha is Ibiza’s most famous nightclub, thanks to its history. The club is set up on different levels, in which there are bars and different music that create completely different settings from each other. The Pacha is also one of the most expensive clubs on the island and entry fees range from 40 to 60 euros and drinks are not included. The type of people attending the place varies according to the evening or the event, but almost always there are the known faces of the jet set, in addition to the international djs who play in the console, making the present dance on different floors make up the disco. Over the years the Pacha has become an international brand: they have opened not only in Spain but also in New York, Buenos Aires and other cities. The club season runs from June to early October, but the Pacha is also open the rest of the year on Fridays and Saturdays.
Es Paradis (Carretera Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza)
El Paradis is a nightclub located in San Antonio, characterized by interiors decorated in Roman style and a spectacular pyramid-shaped structure. The highlight of this club is the Fiesta Del Agua in Ibiza, a water party that takes place every two weeks, during which the club’s dance floor is flooded with water and transformed into a swimming pool, where you can dance and have fun until dawn.
Eden Ibiza (Calle Salvador Espriu, San Antonio, Ibiza)
Located in San Antonio, near Es Paradis, Eden is a huge Egyptian-style nightclub that truly gives a Pharaonic experience. The club has recently opened and organizes different evenings every day, which see the presence of DJs internationally, thanks to the fact that the main promoters of Eden are English.
Amnesia (Carretera de Ibiza in San Antonio Km. 5, Ibiza)
Located along the road connecting Eivissa to San Rafael, Amnesia is another cult nightclub in Ibiza, opened in 1976 and has become over the years a real model and a reference point for discos all over the planet. Originally, the place was a farmhouse dating back to the 18th century, while now it is a super disco, with two large areas that can accommodate up to 5000 people who dance simultaneously. The Amnesia nightclub is famous above all for its mythical parties and themed events such as the famous, Cocoon Party and many others. One of the funniest parties is the foam party, where the dance floor is literally filled with soap bubbles, flooding anyone and turning the club into a huge bathtub.
Privilege (Urbanization San Rafael, San Rafael, Ibiza)
Open every day from 24.00 to 6.00. The Privilege of Ibiza is one of the largest nightclubs in the world, also registered in the Guinness Book of Records, built inside a huge building made of terraces that can accommodate up to ten thousand people! Inside there is also a large swimming pool and several gardens from which to enjoy a splendid view of the Mediterranean. The superstar dj of Privilege is Tiesto, but the likes of Madonna and Jade Jagger have also performed here. A place definitely not to be missed.
Ibiza Rocks Hotel (C / Cervantes 27, San Antonio, Ibiza)
Ibiza Club with live music, especially rock music, the Ibiza Rocks has transformed a hotel into the epicenter of rock concerts on the island and guarantees an eclectic, but always recent line-up. The main event is held on Wednesday evenings and once the fun ends at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the Rocks Ibiza After Show parties take you to the nearby Es Paradis nightclub. Friday evening instead there is the evening “We Are Rockstars”, during which alternate the Djs at the console.
Bora Bora (Calle d’es Fumarell, 1, Sant Josep de Talaia, Ibiza)
Located on the Playa d’en Bossa party, the Bora Bora is not really a disco, but one of the most famous chinguitos in Ibiza. Here you can dance all day on the beach, including aperitifs and electronic music, played live by DJs on duty in the console. Located near the beaches of Es Cavallet and Las Salinas, the DC10 is a nightclub with some of the most innovative electronic music on the island, which is becoming increasingly popular in recent years. Nikki Beach Ibiza (Avinguda de s’Argamassa, Santa Eulalia Del Río, Ibiza)

The club’s success lies in its amazing music, impressive sound system and mood lights. Blue Marlin is a beach club located in Playa de Cala Jondal, renowned for its exotic environment and its reputation as a glamorous club.
